24 Entertainment provided a handful of updates coming to their online action game, Naraka: Bladepoint.
One of the most exciting announcements would be a NieR Replicant and NieR Automata. The crossover will collaborate with Yoko Taro’s series, in which players can expect new content inspired by characters and weapons from the world of NieR. More details about the event will be revealed soon.
Further, a new weapon, Pole Staff, will be available in February 2023. However, a new hero is coming, Feria Shen, who will be a playable character on December 22, 2022. Feria can trigger her Ultimate to summon Trouble, a mech companion armed with a pair of devastating Swarm launchers.
The publisher also revealed they will release the game on Xbox One on December 22; it is currently only available on Xbox Series X on PC. The game will be available via Xbox Game Pass, as well.
In January 2023, Showdown Chapter III content launches.
Naraka: Bladepoint doesn’t seem to have much of a story outside a group of characters who are more like gods fighting each other. The gameplay is online-focused with various multiplayer modes and a map named Interaction. Players will utilize maneuverability through the stages as they figure out ways to outsmart opponents.
Given that this is a free-to-play game, players can expect some microtransactions including cosmetic customization options. The gameplay is violent and features a wide array of playable characters who add their own unique skills and talents to match a player’s playstyle.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on future collaborations with Naraka: Bladepoint.
