Naraka: Bladepoint Launches Forerunner Beta for the Weekend
24 Entertainment launched the Forerunner Beta for their online action game, Naraka: Bladepoint, available later today on PC-via Steam.
The Beta will last from April 23, 11:oo am PT through April 26, 11:00 am PT. This beta will also feature some updates from the previous beta with Morus Island having received some landscape world. The environments feature more interactive elements including poisonous mushrooms, a rideable ballista, and shrubbery that players can stealth their way through.
Naraka: Bladepoint doesn’t seem to have much of a story outside a group of the characters who are more like gods fighting each other. The gameplay is online-focused with various multiplayer modes and a map named Interaction. Players will utilize maneuverability through the stages as they figure out ways to outsmart opponents.
Given that this is a free-to-play game, we aren’t sure which elements of gameplay that players can put money into. It’s assumed that cosmetic customization options are possible along with new maps. The gameplay is violent and features a wide array of playable characters who each add their own unique skills and talents to a match to fit a player’s playstyle.
Naraka: Bladepoint was supposed to launch in 2020, but has since evolved across several betas hosted by the developer. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on its development.
