Ghost Hunting Visual Novel ‘Nanairo Reincarnation’ Gets PC Release Date in the West

Sekai Project seems to have posted the release date for the Silky’s Plus Wasabi and Silky’s Plus Alpha developed adventure visual novel Nanairo Reincarnation, set to release on PC-via Steam on September 27.

Nanairo Reincarnation tells the story of 3rd-year college student Kagami Makoto how inherits the estate of his late grandfather. However, shortly after moving in strange thing start happening. His childhood friend Iyo shows up and turns out to be a zashiki-warashi, a spirit who performs pranks.

Then, a woman named Kikyou appears who claims to be a demon followed by a police detective. Evidently, he and his family have a sacred duty of helping wandering spirits pass on to the afterlife and assist the police with any and all supernatural crimes reported in town. After accepting his responsibility, a case is revealed that he doesn’t seem capable of handling.

The game features multiple routes and is based on the PlayStation Vita version of the game. The art is by Sumeragi Kohaku and the game is fully voiced in Japanese, save for the main character. The mature content in the game is described to show graphic and gorey scenes as well as nudity covered by towels.
