Mythical Pokémon Zarude to Debut in New Pokémon Animated Movie

The Pokemon Company have announced that the Mythical Pokémon Zarude will be playing a central role in the upcoming 23rd animated Pokémon film. This film, title “Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle” will be releasing in 2021.

Zarude can also be found in the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion Sword & Shield—Vivid Voltage, which has already launched. This new set is available at various retailers worldwide including Pokémon Center. The new card set also introduces an all-new kind of card called Amazing Pokémon. These cards contain Legendary or Mythical Pokémon with colorful and vivid backgrounds stretching beyond the frame. Foil, a special rarity symbol and etched details coat these cards too.

The full expansion set includes the following:

• six Amazing Pokémon
• six Pokémon VMAX, including Pikachu VMAX, Orbeetle VMAX, and Coalossal VMAX shown in their Gigantamax forms
• 11 Pokémon V
• 13 full-art Pokémon V; and more

Additionally, Zarude can be added to player’s copies of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield by opting in for Pokémon Trainer Club email notifications before the date of November 20, 2020. This pokemon can not be encountered in ordinary gameplay. The info of this pokemon are as follows:
