My Hero One’s Justice 2 Introduces Minoru Mineta and Mina Ashido as Playable Characters

Bandai Namco released new screenshots for My Hero One’s Justice 2, in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC for a 2020 release.

The screenshots introduce Minoru Mineta and Mina Ashido as playable characters in the upcoming action game. Minoru Mineta’s quirk, known as Pop off, allows him to produce and pull of stick ball-shaped objects from the top of his head that can be used to stick opponents in their place. Mina Ashido, on the other hand, has an Acid quirk that allows her to form a corrosive acid using her body that is beneficial for both offense and defense.

My Hero One’s Justice 2 has players create a team of three fighters, who consist of characters from the anime and manga series. The original cast of characters will be joined by a new cast including Kai Chisaki,  Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado of “The Big 3”, and Mina Ashido and Minoru Mineta.

The first entry released in 2018 and told the story of the heroes finding their Quirks and meeting for the first time. However, the training seems to be over as this new entry will go into a new arc. The game’s arcade-style combat felt responsive and each character had a place in the world. Similarly, the story was presented accurately and featured voice talent from the show.
