Crunchyroll has announced that My Hero Academia: Vigilantes Season 2 will officially premiere on January 5, 2026, with new episodes streaming weekly as they air in Japan. The series will be available worldwide, excluding Asia (with the exception of the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia).
Accompanying the premiere date, a brand-new trailer was released, offering fans a look at fresh characters and action-packed sequences from the upcoming season. The video also reveals the theme song artists: the energetic opening “CATCH!!!” is performed by THREEE, while the ending theme, titled “Miss you.,” comes from rising artist shytaupe.
Set years before the events of My Hero Academia, Vigilantes follows Koichi Haimawari, a college student with modest Quirk abilities who moonlights as the street-level hero “The Crawler.” Alongside Pop☆Step and the no-nonsense Knuckleduster, the trio steps into the shadows to deal with villains and unrest that official pro heroes can’t, or won’t, touch.
Season 2 will continue to adapt the manga series written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court, based on the universe created by Kohei Horikoshi. The production team includes Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders) as director, with Yosuke Kuroda returning on series composition. Animation will once again be handled by Bones, the same studio behind My Hero Academia.
