My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble Still Exists; Releasing Next Week

At Tokyo Game Show 2023, Bandai Namco and Byking have just announced that the My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble free-to-play battle royale game will finally be releasing next week (September 28th) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.

In addition to the 15 characters that were playable in the open beta that was held last May 2023, the developers have confirmed that Eijiro Kirishima, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Ibara Shiozaki will also be joining the cast of playable characters. Furthermore, there will be planned updates occurring bi-monthly, adding more characters as time goes on.

My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble is a battle royale game where players will join one of eight three-player teams as Heroes or Villains as they battle on expansive citywide maps. By controlling classic My Hero characters, fans can make the most of their Quirks to attack enemies and cooperate with their team to survive fights.

Players can also contribute to their team’s victory by rescuing or intimidating civilians on the field to obtain powerful items that can determine the outcome of the battle. My Hero Academia: Ultra Rumble will be free to play, and it will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
