Romance Visual Novel ‘My Fair Princess’ Western PC Release Delayed Due to Development Bug

Sol Press announced that the PeaSoft developed romance visual novel My Fair Princess will be delayed from its August 16 release date until further notice.

The cause of the delay is due to a bug that was found in a late QA test that requires fixing before the game can be released. The developer waited until now to announce the news in hopes they’d have a resolution or patch by the time the game launched. However, it’s a bug that they can’t fix themselves are must work with PeaSoft to get fixed. The publisher adds, “As soon as we have any sort of idea as to what we need to do to get this bug fixed, we’ll be sure to set and announce a new release date, but we hope that you can bear with us in the meantime.”

My Fair Princess tells the story of Satoshi Kanamori, a student who attends the prestigious Ryokufuuin Academy on scholarship. Throughout the story, players will witness how Satoshi deals with the weight of attending such a high-class academy without really fitting in the role. However, this doesn’t stop underclassman Hitomi Miyazono from adoring him and wants to do whatever she can to make his time at the school comfortable. Along with his friends Ayame Enatsu and Rin Washio, the group will learn things about Satoshi that he is hiding.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated when the game receives a new release date.
