Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After Gets New Screenshots; Coming West to PC in 2020

During the Muv-Luv Expo: Sumer, Anchor announced that Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After is coming to PC in 2020.

Details are scarce, but Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After is an all-new story set in the world of Muv-Luv Unlimited. The game will be placed in a new setting with new characters.

The story follows a history where the alternative four plan failed, and so the alternative five plan takes affect. Humanity has succeeded in using a powerful weapon known as the G Bomb, which whipped out all of the BETA hives.

However, this came at a cost as the bombs altered the Earth’s gravity, causing fluxation across the planet. Now, a large portion of the planet is uninhabitable. Humanity then begins to fight for what little resources are left.

The developer plans to shorten the gap between Japanese and western releases, with their newest titles scheduled for a simultaneous release.

In the past, the series has appeared on both PC and even PlayStation Vita in the west. The story features alternate universes and mechs as wells as deep bonds between characters. There’s action and suspense, which cultivates to provide players an exciting visual novel experience.
