Muv-Luv Project Mikhail Delayed to Fall but New Gameplay Looks Awesome
Anchor released a new video providing Muv-Luv fans with an update surrounding the development and release of the action mech game Project Mikhail.
The action game has been delayed from its previously announced August release to a new September and October release window for PC and Nintendo Switch, respectively. The delay will most likely provide the team with more time to work on the game’s systems and mechanics to deliver a better overall experience.
The gameplay shown in a producer letter video highlights mech customize where players can change the color and equipment of their mech—additional gameplay options in battle including damage and blood and high-level gameplay.
Muv-Luv is a series known for its visual novel presentation, but Project Mikhail is an action game the puts players in control of a Tactical Surface Fighter Mech to fight against alien BETA. The game has been delayed several times in the past, but given that it is a completely new experience for the series, it’s to be expected that the team would hit obstacles. Still, the game looks like it’s shaping up nicely as an action title.
We’ll keep you updated on the development and release of Project Mikhail in the west.
