Muv-Luv Integrate Shares New Trailer ‘A New Beginning’; Sequel To Muv-Luv Alternative

The official Muv-Luv Youtube channel has shared a new promotional video for the upcoming Muv-Luv Integrate, the sequel to the beloved Muv-Luv Alternative. This ambitious project was first revealed in October 2019, with its finalized release even being uncertain at the time. The creator of the series, Yoshimune Kouki, has returned as the mecha designer, so players can expect this to include mecha action, as seen in Alternative.

The inspiration behind this project was Gundam’s Tomino and how it gathers together the previous Gundam series into Turn A Gundam. With a title like Integrate, this could reflect what will happen in this new entry. More information on this game will be revealed in the near future.

The video description of the new trailer has a vague yet intriguing synopsis:

“Now he has arisen: he, who slept so long, from the depth arisen, out of arches strong.

Huge he stands and unknown in the twilight land, and the moon he crushes in his blackened hand.

Tower-like he squashes embers’ dying gleamand, where day is fleeing, fills with blood the stream.

Countless are the corpses swept into the reeds, covered by white feathers, where the vulture feeds.

He stands over ramparts blue of flames around, over darkened streets with heavy weapons sound,
over broken gates where gatemen lie across, over bridges bending under human dross.

Through the night he chases fire across the world: red-fanged hound of hell with savage scream unfurled.

Out of darkness leaps dominion of night, frightful at its border shine volcanoes bright.

Over stormstrung clouds reflecting fiery brands, to the deadly dark of frigid desert sands,

Down he pours the fires, withering the night, phosphorus and brimstone on Gomorrha bright.”
