Publisher Shiravune has announced that the MOEDOKI-developed idle gacha game Muv-Luv Girls Garden will be released in English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese on Steam in Q4 2026.
Originally released in Japan, Muv-Luv Girls Garden follows new characters and a standalone story. No prior knowledge of the Muv-Luv series is required.
Players control an amnesiac commander who survives an expedition into the Maze, an underground labyrinth where gravity and reality itself have broken down. Leading the students of Zar’tum Academy, players command squads of girls piloting giant humanoid machines known as Maze Guarders (MGs) as they explore the ever-changing abyss.
Progression revolves around squad building and character collection, allowing players to assemble teams that automatically battle through the Maze while collecting resources and upgrading their units.
Zar’tum Academy is an independent city built around training pilots capable of exploring the underground. Within the Maze, players will encounter gravitational anomalies and deposits of the valuable Tatsumiya Ore, the resource that led to the development of the Maze Guarders.
Muv-Luv Girls Garden features a new creative team while retaining connections to the broader franchise. Hayato Tashiro handled the reconstructed worldbuilding, Siino and Pro-p designed the main characters, and Wataru Inada redesigned the mechanical designs.
