During a special broadcast on July 15, 2025, new details were revealed for the upcoming game Muv-Luv Girls Garden. The title is planned to launch later this year on PC via browser and DMM Game Player, as well as Android, with development reportedly 90% complete and the final 10% currently being polished.

The stream featured guest appearances, including Muv-Luv general producer tororo, and development producer Masato Ishiwata. This stream marked the debut of gameplay footage.
Muv-Luv Girls Garden is being positioned as a fresh take on the franchise, with original Muv-Luv director and âge co-founder Hayato Tashiro overseeing worldbuilding. The game shifts into uncharted territory by introducing fantasy themes, a first for the series.
General producer tororo noted that the goal was to create a version of Muv-Luv that feels both new and approachable, being built for newcomers and veteran fans alike.
A new trailer premiered during the event, showcasing the theme song. Further, the footage depicted school life, character moments, and battle scenes, including mech combat.
New lore elements were also teased, including an underground zone where a memory-lost commander and a group of girls battle foes. These creatures vary in strength but are highly territorial and aggressive, with direct encounters considered extremely dangerous.
Muv-Luv Girls Garden is not meant to replace the original titles, but to complement them with something distinct. Due to engine limitations in older titles like Strike Frontier and Alternative: Total Eclipse, this new game was built on a modern engine, allowing for ongoing updates.
All-ages and R-18 versions are in the works.
