Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative to Launch on iOS and Android Devices This Year

Anchor announced that Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative will launch on iOS and Android devices in the west by the end of the year.

The company let fans know that initially, only the Android version was planned but that backers on their Kickstarter will receive both versions in case they’ve changed devices throughout development. The company also has more updates planned for the future of the series.

Muv-Luv initially launched in 2003 but has since seen updated releases and ports in the western regions. The game sets up the stage for other entries in the series but is different from what fans might expect if they’ve only played the high-action sequels. Instead, this is more of a romantic comedy that takes the form of an action game through alternate timelines and twists but gives readers an idea of the character writing and relationships that the series does so well.

Muv-Luv Alternative is where the action sets in as players uncover a politically-driven war against the BETA invasions where humanity must fight for their lives while also considering who will run the world if they win. This is where the series takes off and will be the foundation of sequels to come, so it’s essential to give it a playthrough.
