Muv-Luv Alternative Vol. 13 to Release Next Week; Update Provided for Project Mikhail and Total Eclipse’s Release

Anchor announced that the manga Muv-Luv Alternative – Vol 13 will launch in the west on October 16, 2021.

Further, the publisher announced that the action mech game Project Mikhail and Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse are currently in bug testing for their translation effort. Both of these games are highly anticipated by fans but have been previously delayed for optimization.

Muv-Luv Alternative Vol 13 is a manga from Makishima Azusa and is based on the visual novel series. The story follows the teenager Shirogane Takeru, who was transported to Earth, which is currently under attack by creatures known as BETA. Provided he has a fighting spirit. Takeru volunteers to save the world, only to fail miserably.

Muv-Luv is a series known for its visual novel presentation, but Project Mikhail is an action game the puts players in control of a Tactical Surface Fighter Mech to fight against alien BETA. The game has been delayed several times in the past, but given that it is a completely new experience for the series, it’s to be expected that the team would hit obstacles. Still, the game looks like it’s shaping up nicely as an action title.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse occurs 11 months before Muv-Alternative as players are taken to the Yukon Base in Alaska. Here is where test pilots take on trails and test new mechs to help humans fight against an alien threat.

We’ll keep you updated with future Muv-Luv announcements.
