Over-the-Top JRPG ‘Mugen Souls Z’ Coming to Switch in September; No Censored Content and All DLC Included

EastAsiaSoft announced they will publish the Idea Factory-developed over-the-top JRPG Mugen Souls Z on Nintendo Switch in September 2023.

The publisher confirmed this version will include the previously removed scrubbing mini-game where players can clean the characters for added bonuses on the field. This re-adds the over 100 CGs removed from the initial PS3 release from NISA.

Also confirmed is a physical release. Pre-orders for physical editions will also open later this week on Thursday, June 22, at 8:00 am PT with online retail partner Playasia.

Mugen Souls Z is the sequel to Mugen Souls with updated systems and mechanics across a new adventure. The Chou-Chou goddess is back to take down the twelve Zodiac worlds and help out her frenemies. The game features free-roaming battles with SRPG mechanics. Further, the over-the-top actions in battle allow players to cause huge amounts of damage, made even more insane now that the level cap is 9999.

During gameplay, Chou-Chou will explore with the ultimate goddess Syrma to fight an ancient evil that has awakened.
