Mugen Souls Z Gets September Switch Release Date; Physical Version Available

EastAsiaSoft announced that the Idea Factory-developed over-the-top JRPG Mugen Souls Z is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 14, 2023.

There is a limited edition available, which can be pre-ordered either the limited edition or standard edition ahead of launch at Play Asia. The Limited Edition comes with an art book, soundtrack, and stickers.

The publisher confirmed this version will include the previously removed scrubbing mini-game where players can clean the characters for added bonuses on the field. This re-adds the over 100 CGs removed from the initial PS3 release from NISA.

Mugen Souls Z is the sequel to Mugen Souls with updated systems and mechanics across a new adventure. The Chou-Chou goddess is back to take down the twelve Zodiac worlds and help out her frenemies. The game features free-roaming battles with SRPG mechanics. Further, the over-the-top actions in battle allow players to cause huge amounts of damage, made even more insane now that the level cap is 9999.

During gameplay, Chou-Chou will explore with the ultimate goddess Syrma to fight an ancient evil that has awakened.
