Bandai Namco launched a trailer for Mr. Driller DrillLand, coming to Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on June 25.
The trailer showcases an animated opening for the game that introduces each of the characters to the tune of an adorable song. It’s safe to say; it’s all very Japanese.
Mr. Driller DrillLand is an action-puzzle game where players must drill their way to the bottom of the screen to complete the level. This involves destroying colored blocks that make up the game field as they rack up points.
Mr. Driller DrillLand has players going on an adventure to a secret amusement park known as Drill Land, which is located 500 meters underground. Players are able to explore and take on the five attractions, which each have their own set of unique gameplay rules and a final boss that must be defeated at the end. The also includes a multiplayer mode, allowing up to four players to race to the finish or even battle in local coop.
This upcoming release is the first time that Mr. Driller is available on the Switch. Furthermore, both the Switch and PC version of Mr. Driller DrillLand will include various updates, including graphics, gameplay, and HD cutscenes.
