Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Character Trailer Shows Off Edenian Demigod Rain

A new Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate trailer was released today by Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios revealing a new playable character, the Edenian Demi-God, Rain.

Rain is the son of the god Argus, Edenia’s divine protector. He harnesses the power of water and lightning, allowing him to open up dimensional rifts to a previously unknown water realm and even liquefy himself to avoid attacks. He also has a katar used for melee combat with slashing enemies. Rain joins Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 2 and Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate on November 17, 2020.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate pre-orders are available today, for $59.99, granting immediate access to the original game as well as Kombat Pack 1 and the Aftermath Expansion.

Owners of the original title can also pre-order Kombat Pack 2 today for $14.99, which will also include the Time Warrior Skin Pack. These three new character skins are “Dark Web” Noob Saibot, “HCF” (Halt and Catch Fire) Liu Kang and “Blood Moon” Skarlet.

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is scheduled to release globally beginning on November 17 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and  Xbox One consoles.

A free Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrade will be available, boasting 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times and cross-generation console compatibility for select modes. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S owners can also receive a free upgrade, courtesy of Smart Delivery.
