Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer for the NetherRealm developed fighter Mortal Kombat 11, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
The trailer reveals gameplay feature Shang Tsung voiced by actor Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa who portrayed the character in the 1995 film Mortal Kombat. The character is the first of six playable fighters included in the Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack.
Additional fighters in the Kombat Pack were also revealed as Spawn will join the roster as a new guest characters along with two other guest fighters to be confirmed at a later day. Nightwolf and Sindel are also headed to the game as Klassic Kombatants. The DLC pack include character skin and gear sets for each DLC characters and includes a Johnny Cage Ninja Mimi character skin as well. Picking up the pack also gets players one-week early access to all content.
Shang Tsung hosted the first Mortal Kombat tournament and uses shapeshifting abilities to strip the souls of his victims, which allows him to maintain his youthful appearance. He also has the ability to morph into characters and use their own moves against them in battle.
Shang Tsung is available on June 18 and the Kombat Pack is available now for $39.99.
