Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer for the NetherRealm developed fighter Mortal Kombat 11, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23.
The new trailer gives players a look a the playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11 as the present characters come into contact with their past selves as they appeared in the Mortal Kombat series history. However, being that the story features a time-bending narrative, these past versions aren’t the “good guys” you’d expect them to be. Instead, the trailer shows them fighting each other in an overly graphic and violent way that only Mortal Kombat can pull off.
Additionally, new characters Liu Kang, Kung Lau, and Majo Jackson “Jax” Briggs were revealed as they join together once again to take on an approaching evil. These characters will be available in Mortal Kombat 11 at launch and will not be a part of character DLC.
In case you missed it, check out the, Noob Saibot and Shang Tsung, Kotal Kahn and Jacqui Briggs, Cassie Cage and Kano, Jade, Johnny Cage, and Kabal reveal trailer and a look at gameplay released earlier this year showing a handful of returning characters.
