Kabal and D’Vorah Confirmed for ‘Mortal Kombat 11’; Kabal Gets a Reveal Trailer

Kabal and D’Vorah are joining the fight in Mortal Kombat 11. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios have unveiled a new Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay trailer featuring Kabal, a former Black Dragon enforcer turned Revenant. Also, after today’s Kombat Kast, NetherRealm revealed another returning character: D’Vorah, who’s from Mortal Kombat X.

90s gamers may remember Kabal back in 1995’s Mortal Kombat 3. He sadly didn’t make an appearance in the previous game in the franchise, Mortal Kombat X, but he’ll be making one epically evil comeback in Mortal Kombat 11. Known for his lightning-fast speed and deadly Hook Swords, Kabal was resurrected as a twisted, evil version of himself, who now serves the Netherrealm and pledges to destroy all other realms.

According to NetherRealm, thanks to Mortal Kombat 11’s custom character loadouts, players will have the option to create a version of Kabal that suits their play style. However, it’s important to note that NetherRealm’s Steve Brownback said that Mortal Kombat 11‘s Kabal will be easier to use and master, unlike previous games where he was best suited for more expert players.

Joining Kabal and D’Vorah in Mortal Kombat 11 will be everyone’s favorite Mortal Kombat cybernetic eye guy, Kano. This news was confirmed by NetherRealm last week.

Mortal Kombat 11 is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on April 23.

Author’s take: I’m hoping that Kung Lao and Kenshi are added! If Kenshi is added, he should look exactly like Keanu Reeves and be voiced by him (please look at BossLogic’s fanart of Keanu Reeves as Kenshi).
