Jade Kicks Ass in New Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new gameplay trailer for the NetherRealm developed hardcore fighter Mortal Kombat 11, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on April 23.

The Trailer features the returning character Jade, a master assassin who wears her classic green apparel, but of course, it received some upgrades. During the trailer, players can get a preview of her move set as well as a quick glimpse of her interactions with her opponents. I should say that she literally splits her enemies in half during a fatality so if you don’t like graphic imagery then you should probably skip the end of the trailer.

Also, the developer recently confirmed that thanks to Mortal Kombat 11’s custom character load outs, players will be able to customize a character to their playstyle, but each playable character will be easy to use, but hard to master.

Author’s take: The gore in this game is just insane and I think it really pushes the bar for what is allowed in games. I’m interested to see how far the team can take it in the future.
