Mortal Kombat 11 Debuts Spawn Gameplay in New Trailer

During Final Kombat 2020, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the debut Spawn gameplay trailer for the NeitherRealm-developed fighter Mortal Kombat 11.

The trailer gives players an early look at the super hero’s moveset and in-game look, which includes his signature cape, chains, and battle-ax, that can all be used against opponents.

Spawn joins the roster on March 17 as part of the early access period for those who purchased the Kombat Pack. All other players can purchase the character on March 24.

Additionally, owners will have access to the Spawn-inspired character skin, “Hellspawn” Jacqui Briggs, on March 17, alongside the Matinee Skin Pack featuring “Osh Tekk Vandal” Kotal Kahn, “Swashbuckler” Erron Black and “Space Marine” Jacqui Briggs.

Mortal Kombat 11 follows an original narrative that continues the franchise’s saga and picks up after Raiden defeats the Elder God, Shinnok. Evidently, this has upset the ire of Kronika and her desired balance between good and evil. In order to restore the realms, Kronika will rewind time to its beginning and restart history. Throughout the game, players will play through different eras of the Mortal Kombat franchise. This will include a wide cast of playable characters from the past and present as they join forces to defeat Shao Khan’s Outworld armies and solve the temporal crisis.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
