Cassie Cage and Kano Go Toe to Toe in New Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released new character trailers for the NetherRealm developed fighter Mortal Kombat 11, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Aril 23.

During today’s Kombat Kast hosted by NetherRealm, newly announced characters Cassie Cage and Kano stared in a new trailer where players can see them in action. Cassie Cage has a range of technical moves that utilize guns, machines with lasers, and brute force. While Kano strikes back with knife attacks, his laser eye, and some pretty gruesomely power hits to Cassie. Both characters will be played at the game’s launch.

This morning, Mortal Kombat 11 detailed how the story is an original narrative that continues the franchise’s saga and picks up after Raiden defeats the Elder God, Shinnok. Evidently, this has upset the ire of Kronika and her desired balance between good and evil. In order to restore the realms, Kronika will rewind time to its beginning and restart history. Throughout the game, players will play through different eras of the Mortal Kombat franchise. This will include a wide cast of playable characters from the past and present as they join forces to defeat Shao Khan’s Outworld armies and solve the temporal crisis.
