Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Reveals Friendship Fatalities in New Gameplay Trailer

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NeitherRealm released a new trailer for the expansion DLC, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 26 for $39.99.

The trailer highlights the friendship fatalities being added to the game, which will be free for all owners of Mortal Kombat 11. The free content update will launch the same day as the Aftermath DLC and will include new stages along with stage fatalities and these new friendship attacks. The Friendship Fatality isn’t new to the series, but it is new for this title.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath features new playable characters with the inclusion of Fujin, Sheeva, and the guest fighter, RoboCop. The story picks up with the new keeper of time and protector of Earthrealm, Fire God Liu Kang, as he enlists the help of allies and foes to change history. The expansion’s new characters will each play a role in the narrative, including RoboCop who is voiced by Peter Weller.

Each of the new fighters adds a variety of different abilities to the game. Fujin brings his sword and crossbow combo, Sheeva brings her strength, and RoboCop, well, he brings the guns.
