Mortal Kombat 1 Announces Megan Fox as the Voice & Likeness of Nitara
Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios revealed a new video for their upcoming fighter, Mortal Kombat 1, revealing that actress Megan Fox has lent her voice and likeness to the in-game character Nitara.
Megan Fox said the following:
“I grew up playing Mortal Kombat and I can’t believe that I’m voicing a character in the new game. It’s an honor to be a part of one of the greatest video game legacies of all time “
The game takes place after the ending of Mortal Kombat 11, where Liu Kang became a god and created a separate universe. This allows the team to reboot the series and change up some of the story elements.
The standard version is confirmed to cost $69.99, with a $109.99 Premium Edition, “including 1,250 Dragon Krystals (in-game currency), the Kombat Pack featuring Johnny Cage character skin, early access to six new playable characters (available post-launch), and five new Kameo Fighters (available post-launch).”
Lastly, a PlayStation and Xbox-only Collector’s Edition for $249.99 was previously announced, “including Premium Edition content and early access, along with a 16.5-inch Liu Kang sculpture designed by COARSE, and an inspired Liu Kang in-game character skin, three exclusive art prints, a steel case, and 1,450 additional Dragon Krystals (2,700 total).”
