Action RPG ‘Morbid: The Seven Acolytes’ Gets Release Date on Console and PC

Merge Games announced that the Still Running-developed action-RPG Morbid: The Seven Acolytes will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on December 3.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is a souls-like game that blends boss encounters with RPG mechanics and deep lore. However, it has a more retro appeal to players traveling across the isometric world of Mornia and doing their best to survive.

Additionally, there will be a physical release from publisher Signature Edition, which will include:

• Region free copy of Morbid: The Seven Acolytes.
• Two limited edition enamel pins featuring Blessings runes as found in the game.
• Collector’s art card featuring the developer’s signatures and concept art of Lorn, one of the deadly seven acolytes.
• Original Soundtrack CD.
• Packaged in a sturdy “Sierra” box with an outer sleeve featuring alternative color artwork.

Morbid: The Seven Acolytes features a classic approach to the action-RPG genre where players will take on tough foes using over 25 unique Melee Weapons such as Swords, Axes, Maces, Spears, and guns. The game features an orchestrated soundtrack and various NPCs to offer players lore and quests.
