Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Gets Spooky With Resident Evil 2 Crossover Trailer
Capcom launched a trailer for a new collaboration between Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Resident Evil 2: Remake.
The event launches this November and allows players to get fitted with Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy costumes. While the characters might stand out in this world, the collaboration also finds some zombie-like monsters for the characters to fight again. During the event reveal, Leon carried a large Heavy Bowgun while Claire was equipped with a Long Sword. However, each of the weapons has special qualities to them after viewing the trailer.
The trailer is actually pretty comedic at times with two characters simply existing in this world and then the fact that the Handler is dressed as Mr. X only makes it better.
Picking up from the end of the storyline in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will have players join forces with the Research Commission once again to explore the undiscovered new land of Hoarfrost Reach. Following an unusual sighting of Legiana from the Ancient Forest, the team journeys across the waters to a new locale with a frigid climate covered in snow and ice. As pioneers, the group soon sets up a new base camp in Hoarfrost Reach called Seliana, which serves as a warm HQ with resources to prepare them for the challenging quests that await.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, with a PC release scheduled for January 2020.
