Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Details Monster Hunter Film Collaboration Launching Next Week
Capcom revealed details ahead of the collaboration event between Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and the upcoming Monster Hunter film.
The event will launch on December 4, where players will play through a two-part special Event Quest. During the event, players can face offa gainst the Black Diablos depicted in the film during a solo quest, and then they can jump into a group to try and take down a Greater Rathalos. The two quests will only be available to players who are Master Rank.
Those who succeed will receive special gear, layered armor, new titles, a new background, and Guild Card poses. Beginning on November 27, all players will be able to claim a one limited-time item pack filled with useful items along with a log-in bonus tied to the film.
The Monster Hunter film will premier on December 25, directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich.
Picking up from the end of the storyline in Monster Hunter: World, Iceborne will have players join forces with the Research Commission once again to explore the undiscovered new land of Hoarfrost Reach. Following an unusual sighting of Legiana from the Ancient Forest, the team journeys across the waters to a new locale with a frigid climate covered in snow and ice. As pioneers, the group soon sets up a new base camp in Hoarfrost Reach called Seliana, which serves as a warm HQ with resources to prepare them for the challenging quests that await.
Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
