Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Gets Switch and Steam Release Date With New Gameplay
Capcom announced that their upcoming monster hunting adventure Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on July 9, 2021.
The developer released a new trailer highlighting the game’s narrative that revolves around protagonist Razewing Tathalos. Further, fans got to see the return of the self-proclaimed Falyne hero Navirou as it teased the cooperative multiplayer quests. It was noted that more information about the co-op mode will be revealed later.
A Deluxe Edition will be available for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, no surprise there, along with a pre-order bonus, three amiibo figures, and a save-date link reward for players of Monster Hunter Stories.
The Deluxe Edition will include layered armor sets and a Nergigante-inspired hairstyle for players, the Kuan Coat outfit for your Wyverian companion Ena, two new outfits for Navirou, and two sticker sets depicting the various companions’ players will encounter through their journey. Additional pre-order bonuses include the Kamura maiden outfit for Ena.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin begins after a mass disappearance of Rathalos from around the world. Players will assume the role of a descendant of the legendary Rider Red and must protect a Rathalos egg. This is where the adventure begins, but one can assume that it becomes much large.
