Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin Reveals 2-Year Anniversary Art

Capcom has shared new artwork commemorating the second anniversary of a turn-based RPG spinoff in the Monster Hunter franchise, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Ena, Tsukino, and Navirou are depicted in this new illustration.

In case you’re unsure about purchasing the game, there is a demo available on both aforementioned platforms, with extensive details provided via the official Capcom website.

During this turn-based adventure, players will encounter Lilia and Reverto, who will return from the original Monster Hunter Stories. The duo is on a mission to capture your companion Razewing Ratha before it can awaken its destructive power foretold in the prophecy of the Wings of Ruin.

Hot on their heels are a group of Hunters and Riders who seek to capture Razewing Ratha for their own nefarious purposes. More details on how these returning characters interact with the previously revealed cast and the player’s journey to either save their friend or save the world will be revealed soon.

Unlike the mainline Monster Hunter games, which are action adventures centered on cooperative play, the Stories spinoffs are turn-based, single-player journeys. The latter also focuses on narratives far more, breathing more life and diversity into the approachability of the franchise.
