Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 6 Releasing for Switch & PC Tomorrow; PlayStation & Xbox Receiving Title Updates 4-6 August 2023

Capcom has announced that the final free bonus update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Title Update 6, will launch for Nintendo Switch and PC on June 8, 2023. Players can look forward to battling the Primordial Malzeno monster, changes to armor augmentations and decorations, and new Event Quests being added through July 27, 2023.

Moreover, PlayStation, Xbox, and Windows owners of the game will see this free bonus update, and the fourth and fifth free Title Updates be released as one package on August 24, 2023.

Further, the final digital event included a developer roundtable featuring Monster Hunter series Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Director Yoshitake Suzuki, and Monster Hunter Rise Director Yasunori Ichinose, where they discussed the title’s roughly two years of support, their favorite characters, and how player feedback impacted post-launch development.

Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry of the action-RPG series, where players are tasked with taking on some of the most powerful monsters around. The game is set in the Kamura Village, home to many warriors who have developed unique and innovative hunting technologies. One of which is a special insect called a Wirebug. This allows players to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures.
