Publisher and developer Capcom has released a brand new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise, sharing new footage of the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog collaboration. Hunters can sport the Sonic Wear layered armored set, Palicos can wear a straight-up Sonic costume, and Canyen companions can don a Tails-themed outfit. Further, it is worth noting that Palicos can transform into Super Sonic when equipped with their new outfit, granting them the ability to jump like how Sonic himself can.
The Sonic The Hedgehog Collaboration will be occurring on November 26, 2021, for all players. It will also be automatically added to the PC version when it launches next year.

Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry of the action RPG series, where players take on some of the most powerful monsters around. The game is set in the Kamura Village, home to many warriors who have developed unique and innovative hunting technologies. One of which is a remarkable insect called a Wirebug. This allows players to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures.
The Sunbreak expansion was announced during the latest Nintendo Direct and will provide a plethora of content to all players across both Switch and PC in Summer 2022. This release is being said to introduce new monsters, locations, and hunting gameplay, similar in scope to Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion, which added a considerable amount of content to the base game.
A demo for Monster Hunter Rise is currently available for PC via Steam ahead of its January 12, 2022 release date.
