Monster Hunter Rise Show New Gameplay and Story Scenes in Trailer

During today’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom launched a new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise, coming to Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021.

The trailer highlights some of the new monsters that players will face off against and hunt. Additionally, players can see a few of the new traversal mechanics and a preview of the story campaign. The trailer also shows how players will need to defend their bass from monster invasion on their land, which requires them to man weapons such as large guns.

Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry of the action-RPG series, where players are tasked with taking on some of the most powerful monsters around. The game is set in the Kamura Village, home to many warriors who have developed unique and innovative hunting technologies. One of which is a special insect called a Wirebug. This allows players to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures.

Furthermore, all combat areas within each quest are seamlessly connected, allowing players the chance to explore the entire field without loading times.
