Monster Hunter Rise Sells 13 Million Units Worldwide; Sunbreak Sells 6 Million Units Worldwide
Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise has sold over 13 million units worldwide and that its massive expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, has sold over six million units worldwide.
Congratulations to Capcom, and with Sunbreak’s post-launch support having finally concluded, here’s hoping for a brand-new Monster Hunter adventure announcement in the near future.
Monster Hunter Rise is the latest entry of the action-RPG series, where players are tasked with taking on some of the most powerful monsters around. The game is set in the Kamura Village, home to many warriors who have developed unique and innovative hunting technologies. One of which is a special insect called a Wirebug. This allows players to grapple themselves in any direction, making it possible to scale cliffs and structures.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak introduces new monsters, locations, and hunting gameplay, similar in scope to Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion, which added a considerable amount of content to the base game.
