2D Action Game ‘Mononoke Slashdown’ Gets a Switch Release
Arc Systems Works announced that the FK Digital developed 2D action game Mononoke Slashdown is available now on Nintendo Switch-via the Nintendo eShop.
During Mononoke Slashdown, players assume the role of Kagemaru, a ninja sent to defeat monsters and demons using Kunia daggers, ninjutsu arts, a katana, and any other ninja skills you can think of. There really isn’t any more story or that we require as a ninja’s duty is just to go out and get the job done, silently of course. However, from the gameplay, it seems this ninja enjoys getting up close and personal.
Mononoke Slashdown features boss encounters that require the use of ninja magic and additional power up to become stronger over the course of the game. The environments contain secrets that are revealed after completing challenges.
The publisher released a trailer for the title recently showing gameplay and actin to give players a preview of the enemies and abilities found within the game. Additionally, the trailer also shows off some of the improvements made to the title from it’s earlier mobile release in Korea. The title was originally launched on PlayStation mobile in 2013, which was a fun sentence to write.
