Dungeon Crawling Monster Girl RPG ‘Moero Chronicle Hyper’ Coming West for Switch
Idea Factory International announced they will bring Moero Chronicle Hyper to the Nintendo Switch as a digital eShop exclusive in Spring 2019.
Moero Chronicle Hyper is an HD remaster for the dungeon crawling monster girl RPG that released on PlayStation Vita in 2014 and PC in 2017. The remastered version will include vibration function implemented in the “Bumping Scratch” session, new items that will increase stats, Autopilot mode that lets players travel through maps with a press on the display, and all new are for CG event scenes.
Moero Chronicle Hyper tells the story of an unlikely hero who has an issue with girls, but quickly gets over all that as he finds himself on an adventure to bring peace to the region and heal the recent increase of monster related attacks. To do this, players must touch the monster girls and put them in frenzy mode. The game also features dungeon crawling adventure features as well as a first-person turn-based battle system.

Author’s take: This is a pretty surprising announcement, although it’s disappointing that the game is a digital exclusive. I’ve played each release in this series and have had a pretty decent time with all of them. This first adventure is by far the best.
