Mobile JRPG ‘Brave Frontier’ and ‘The King of Fighters’ Collaboration Event Begins Tomorrow

Brave Frontier players: A new gang of four fighters and old favorites from The King of Fighters will be coming soon, very soon. gumi Inc has announced that Brave Frontier players can partake in the upcoming The King of Fighters collaboration event that goes from April 24 (tomorrow) to May 22.

As mentioned, the event will bring four new characters from The King of Fighters, which are Chizuru Kagura, Orochi, Orochi Iori, and Kyo Kusanagi.

Via a press release, here are more details about each character:

Four New The King of Fighters Units

Chizuru Kagura – One of the scions of the three families that had sealed the creature known as Orochi, Chizuru Kagura was a priestess, a martial artist, and an accomplished woman in her own right.

Orochi – A powerful avatar of nature personified. Orochi began to spread its dark influence around the world to eradicate mankind from the world but was sealed away by three families after a mighty battle.

Orochi Iori – A strong warrior with no recollection of himself. The only thing he could remember was his desire for blood. Death! Massacre! These were the words whispered constantly in his mind. With a strange power running through his veins, his body moved with grace and ease, as if he had done it a million times before.

Kyo Kusanagi – A carefree fighter with the power to manipulate fire, Kyo Kusanagi was the scion of one of the three families that had sealed away the creature known as Orochi.

Furthermore, Brave Frontier players that loved the characters from the previous The King of Fighters collab, or those that missed out on getting those characters, have the opportunity to get the characters once again. The characters are as follows: Terry Bogard, Iori Yagami, Omega Rugal, Benimaru Nikaido, Kula Diamond, Athena Asamiya, Mai Shiranui, and Leona.

While getting new and old characters is great, having a new spot to battle and explore is, well, also great. The new collab will introduce a new The King of Fighters arena, along with a new dungeon mechanic for players to enjoy. For the arena, players will have the option to go through different paths and battle it out against some tough fighters to get limited items, like The King of Fighters Sphere.

Fighting the good fight every day will reap rewards for Brave Frontier players. Those that log in daily during the collab period can be rewarded with 21 days of rewards, including Gems and Summon Tickets.
