Sim Adventure ‘Mineko’s Night Market’ Reveals New Gameplay in Trailer
Humble Games released new gameplay for the Meowza Games-developed narrative sim adventure, Mineko’s Night Market, coming to Nintendo Switch and PC via Humble Store and Steam in 2022.
The trailer highlights more gameplay from the title, providing a preview of the game’s various mechanics.
During gameplay, players assume the role of Mineko, a girl who has moved to a new island full of superstitions called Fogu Island. The residents of the island worship a Sun Cat name Abe, who has been spotted appearing among the residents, which isn’t normal for the cat god. So, players will need to adventure to uncover the secrets behind the town while also managing daily activities, completing various jobs, and taking on quests. Further, after crafting items, players can open a Night Market and sell their materials.
Features of the game include exploration and searching for rare resources while meeting a variety of characters. There’s an item crafting system where players can create items and sell them to the townsfolk by bartering with them. Further, minigames include cat racing, octopus pull, and sumo-suit wrestling.
