Mojang Studios has announced that Minecraft will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 27, featuring visual enhancements. Players who already own the Switch version will also have access to a digital upgrade path, with additional details to be shared at a later date.
The Switch 2 version will feature Vibrant Visuals as its default graphical mode, introducing enhanced lighting, improved shadows, and other visual effects. The upgraded visuals will also extend to supported content available through the Minecraft Marketplace.
Nintendo-exclusive content is also receiving an update. The Super Mario Mash-Up Pack has been refreshed to leverage Vibrant Visuals.
Minecraft is available on practically any platform your mind can conceive.
