Mihoyo Finally Adds Two-Factor Authentication to Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd

Yes. It is finally here. MiHoYo has finally added a two-factor authentication system, a highly coveted feature by many people who played their games, such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.

Whenever you log in onto a new device, a screen will prompt you to send a verification code to the email address linked to your MiHoYo account. Furthermore, you can no longer change the linked email account, as you could before.

Players can also manage the devices logged into their account and immediately cut off access if they notice a strange device is accessing their account by going to Account > Account Management > Login Devices.

They also encourage players that have yet to link an email address or a mobile number to do so ASAP to help increase account security.

So, yeah. It is finally a thing. I can only imagine the community is crying tears of joy after this highly requested feature finally being added.
