Publisher 505 Games and solo developer Wazen have announced that their upcoming anime superhero action game MIGHTREYA has surpassed 150,000 wishlists.
A new video was posted alongside a message saying the team is working hard to polish the title so it meets expectations.
Players can anticipate aerial superhero battles with intuitive controls that cater to players of all skill levels. The camera can lock onto targets effortlessly, allowing for numerous attacks to be applied with a single button press. The combat also boosts swiftness and combo chaining. Battling foes of various types can cause them to collide and crash into floors and walls.
Further, the combat system will feature three weapons and over 30 unique actions and attacks to complement combo distinction and finishers. Moreover, 38 stages and 24 enemy types will be implemented.
Story-wise, players are introduced to the stylish protagonist Reya, her manager Nio, and other members of the supporting cast. The game follows a lighthearted hero streamer narrative and includes full Japanese voice acting alongside multilingual text localization.
