Microsoft Announces Sonic Movie 2 Collaboration; Furry Controllers & Custom Console
Microsoft has announced that they are collaborating with Sega and Paramount to give away custom Xbox controllers and an Xbox Series S based on the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 2 film. This limited-time Xbox Series S boasts a golden ring portal from the movie franchise alongside the logo featuring Sonic and Knuckles duking it out. Additionally, the controllers are textured with fuzziness reminiscent of Sonic’s fur, with blue and red colorations available.

A Knuckles-centric spinoff series featuring Idris Elba reprising his role was also recently announced alongside a third Sonic film.

Sonic Frontiers is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Holiday 2022. A teaser site has launched. Further, the setting of the title was confirmed to be called Starfall Islands.
