Microsoft Introduces Xbox Console Wraps Launching Later This Year; Preorders Available Now

Today, Microsoft announced that Xbox Console Wraps will launch later this year, with preorders available now. These wraps are designed to allow users to personalize their Xbox without needing to buy a whole new special edition console.

Wraps have always been available from third-party sellers, but this marks the first time that users will be able to purchase official wraps from Microsoft directly. Unfortunately, these wraps will only be available for the Xbox Series X, so Series S and One users are left out with no plans to release similar wraps for those consoles.

The first wrap to release will be the Starfield premium wrap, which will release in the US, Canada, and Europe on October 18 for $49.99. Following the premium wrap will be two colors in the standard wraps; Arctic Camo and Mineral Camo.

These will launch on November 10 for $44.99, a slight price decrease from the Starfield edition. Specifications of the wraps show no difference besides what color and logos players will wrap their Xbox in.

So, no matter what wrap users choose, they are assured of getting the same quality whether or not they decide to put out the extra money for the premium wrap. We have compiled images released showing off each of the wraps, so users can choose whether or not to wrap their Xbox up for the holidays.

The Starfield Wraps are launching on October 18, with the Arctic and Mineral Camo colors following on November 10. Preorders are available now on the Microsoft store.
