Publisher Omega Intertainment and developer Realmsoft have announced that their 2D platforming metroidvania Clockwork Ambrosia will be released for PC via Steam on May 12, 2026. The project has been in development for over a decade.
Players control Iris, an airship engineer who crashes on the island of Aspida. She learns that its population has disappeared, replaced by hostile machines and other creatures.
The combat comprises a modular weapon system. There are six base weapons, each with distinct mechanics, alongside more than 150 modifications that change how they function. These upgrades range from widespread attacks to more focused, high-damage options.
A crafting system lets you unlock abilities and upgrades over time, tying progression to exploration and resource collection. The game also includes hand-drawn visuals and an original soundtrack composed by Johnny Stixx.
