Metroid Prime Remastered Coming to Nintendo Switch Later Today; Physical Version Later This Month

During the Direct, there was a surprise announcement that the original Metroid Prime is going to be released on Nintendo Switch. This game has only had two previous releases, first on the Gamecube and later on the Wii with the Metroid Prime Trilogy collection that changed its control scheme.

Similarly, this remaster will add dual stick controls, letting you look around and move separately, marking the first time the series has used a more modern control scheme for the series.

The digital version of Metroid Prime Remastered is now available for $39.99, and the physical will be released on February 22.
