Metaphor: ReFantazio Confirmed for PS4, PS5 & Steam

Sega Korea has confirmed that the upcoming Atlus JRPG headed by Studio Zero, Metaphor: ReFantazio, will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The end of the updated trailer reveals logos for the aforementioned platforms alongside the previously confirmed Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows platforms.

This title was also known as Project Re Fantasy for several years. The game is being developed by the team behind Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5. Further details were not provided, but we’ll be sure to keep you all updated on any significant news. This truly does look like a next-generation JRPG experience. It’s also taken notes from the Shin Megami Tensei series. The director is Katsura Hashino, and the composer is Shoji Meguro.

The team confirmed that a special broadcast is planned for June 20, 2023, at 9 AM ET/ 6 AM PT, featuring Mafia Kajita and guest Sayawaka.
