Metal Wolf Chaos XD Explains Freedom in Animated Launch Trailer Ahead of Release
Devolver Digital released a new launch trailer for the FromSoftware developed mech action game Metal Wolf Chaos XD, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 6.
The trailer is fully animated and actually serves as an introduction to the beginning of the game, something that the game just throws you in. So if you’re looking for a little context then this will surely help you out. The animation looks great and the publisher stayed true to the game’s blocky and humorous dialogue. The trailer ends in a huge explosion of dialogue between the President of the United States and his Vice President.
Metal Wolf Chaos originally released in 2004 on the original Xbox in Japan and the rest is history. The game features over the top cinematic moments of chaos and explosions and features some of the best-voiced dialogue in any video game. Developer General Arcade has picked up the task of modernizing the game with refined control and gameplay, and new save system, and 4K + 16:9 resolution support.
In case you missed it, the publisher also released a retrospective video detailing the game’s release and why it’s important for the game to have finally been released in the west after all these years.
