2D Action-Adventure ‘Metal Unit’ Gets New Trailer Ahead of Early Access Launch

Neowiz launched a new trailer for the JellySnow-developed 2D action-adventure Metal Unit coming to Steam Early Access on February 4.

The trailer highlights gameplay from the upcoming action game and a few story elements. Additionally, players get a chance to check out how the characters can be upgraded during a battle along with some of the combat skills.

The developer will use the time in Early Access to address feedback from players globally and create a better product. They are planning to be in the program for six months until an official launch.

Metal Unit is a story-driven side-scroller where players will use a range of melee and ranged weapons to fit their playstyle. The game also features rogue-like elements where players will lose their equipment and items if they die, but points gained during gameplay can be used to purchase other items or skills.

The story focuses on the main character, Joanna, as she heads out on her mission to get revenge on her sister who took up arms with alien invaders. Throughout the story, Joanna will uncover the truth about the world they line in.
